Zombieism?

March 26, 2009

Hey, no, everything’s great on our end, folks. All is well.

The few reports we’ve heard about zombies are no big deal. They’re all in our magical Peggle universe, isolated reports of infected elephants, zombie fairies and some kind of reanimated magical wizard. But have no fear; we’re completely on top of it. You folks in the human world have nothing to worry about.

From what I’m told there’s no possible way any zombie influence could spread from our universe to yours. Even so, Peggle-human crossovers are on lockdown for the moment, even connections as awesome and benevolent as the ones we maintain here at the Institute!

We should have everything back up and running pretty shortly, though. A badger from the Office of Zombie Control is supposed to come by this afternoon to check on our human-world portals. Since I make it my personal responsibility to ensure our portal parameters are up to code, I have no doubt we’ll sail through the review with nary a quiver.

So, to repeat: we’re all good here. No endless stream of infected zombified magical creatures is going to come flooding into your world from ours. There will be no red-eyed penguins hungry for human flesh, no half-decayed rabbits shambling down your streets gnawing on human thighbones, and definitely, certainly, there will be no crazed, blood-hungry unicorns pinning you helplessly in place with the twisted power of their demonic gaze.

I’m ninety percent sure that’s not going to happen. Trust me.

Oh, and hey! Have you entered the Peggle Art Contest yet? Go for it! And remember, you don’t necessarily have to come up with a new Master or design a level. Any piece of Peggle-themed art will do!
